Japan foreign ministry advises caution among Japanese in Iran, Israel NHK

A: Hey there! Did you hear about the news?

B: No, what's up?

A: Japan's Foreign Ministry is warning people about traveling to Iran and Israel right now.

B: Really? Why's that?

A: Well, Israel's been attacking Iran, and because of that, the ministry raised the travel risk level from 2 to 3, which means they really don't recommend going there at all!

B: Woah, that sounds serious! Where exactly is this warning for?

A: It covers Tehran in Iran and Tel Aviv and Jerusalem in Israel. The ministry says around 380 Japanese citizens live in Iran and about 1,000 in Israel.

B: Wait a minute... aren't there more people than that who visit those countries for vacation or something?

A: Yeah, you got it! The figures don't include travelers on a short-term stay. The ministry just wants everyone to be careful and stay updated with the latest information. They also urge expats to stay safe.
