A: Hey there! Guess what? There's this cool event happening in Gifu, right?

B: Oh, really? What's that about?

A: They've got these amazing floats being paraded around during a traditional festival called Takayama Festival. It happens twice a year, spring and autumn!

B: Wow, that sounds interesting. Is it one of those festivals we have in Japan?

A: Yeah, actually! It's part of the Yama, Hoko, Yatai floats festivals in Japan. UNESCO even recognized it as an important part of our cultural heritage!

B: Whoa, that's quite a big deal! So, what happened during this one?

A: Well, it started on Thursday in Takayama city. People pulled these beautiful floats to a shrine while there was music playing. Later, they had a puppet show on one of the floats for visitors to enjoy!

B: That's pretty awesome! I bet it was impressive. Did anyone say something about it?

A: Yeah, this British tourist was really impressed with the puppeteering, even though he didn't quite understand how they did it. Cool, huh?
