1. A survival race combining mountain biking and trail running, called Okukuji "X", took place in Ibaraki Prefecture, northeast of Tokyo, on October 19-20, 2025. 2. The event was organized to promote a mountainous region in the north of the prefecture and included a 125-kilometer bike ride with steep inclines, as well as a 54-kilometer trail run on day two. 3. The winner will be decided by combining the records of both portions, with prizes including 100 kilograms of Ibaraki's Hitachi-gyu brand beef. The race is considered one of Japan's toughest survival races.
