The defending World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Chicago Cubs 4-1 in Major League Baseball&#039;s regular season opener in Tokyo on Tuesday.
        
                    
                  
The two-day Tokyo Series marks the first return of official MLB games to Japan in six years.
        
                    
                  
It was the first time ever a pair of Japanese pitchers started the MLB season opener. Yamamoto Yoshinobu took the mound for the Dodgers and Imanaga Shota for the Cubs.
