Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Agnes Chow describes her time in jail in video NHK

Hong Kong pro-democracy activist Agnes Chow has posted online a video of herself talking about her time in prison.

The 23-minute video, titled "My days behind bars," was the first she posted on her YouTube channel in about three years.

Chow says in the video that she spent her time in jail doing such things as sewing prison clothing and reading Japanese novels.

Chow, who is currently staying in Toronto, Canada, was put on a wanted list after she failed to report to Hong Kong police last December.

Chow was also arrested under Hong Kong's national security law before she was jailed. She said she was afraid that she would be indicted while in jail and would never get out.

Chow says in the video that she doesn't take it for granted that she can freely speak about herself in front of a camera.

Chow says she will continue uploading videos.
