Snowfall likely to disrupt air and train operations NHK

Airlines and railway companies say they are likely to suspend their operations on Friday as heavy snow is expected in the Kanto-Koshin region, including Tokyo.

Japan Airlines says that as of 5 p.m. on Thursday, it had cancelled 32 flights to and from Tokyo's Haneda Airport scheduled for Friday.

Railway operators of Shinkansen, subway and other trains say they will run as usual, but that there could be some cancellations and delays.
