1. Former Japanese Economic Security Minister Takaichi Sanae has announced her third bid for the presidency of the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), aiming to address Japan's current crisis by turning people's anxieties into dreams and hopes.

2. Takaichi intends to strengthen Japan's capabilities in diplomacy, defense, economy, information, and human resources. She has proposed policies such as crisis management investment, growth investment, and amending the Constitution.

3. To address rising living costs, Takaichi plans to design a framework for cash handouts or income tax deductions based on income levels, scrap the provisional tax on gasoline, and raise income thresholds for taxation and social security contributions. She also aims to set up a panel to screen foreign investment projects and a headquarters to oversee issues involving foreign nationals. On diplomacy and national security, she calls for creating anti-espionage legislation. The LDP will choose its new leader on October 4.
