About 30 people were injured in the Central Asian country of Kyrgyzstan on Thursday when a truck plowed into a crowd that had gathered for an event. The Associated Press quoted local authorities and media as saying many of the injured were children. Video shows what appears to be a driverless truck rolling down a slope and running into the crowd before hitting a tent and stopping. People at the site had gathered for a contest to recite poetry.
