N.Korea launches 2 ballistic missiles NHK

Japan's Defense Ministry says North Korea has launched two ballistic missiles.

The ministry says they were launched around 11:40 p.m. Wednesday, Japan time.

Ministry officials say the missiles appear to have fallen outside Japan's exclusive economic zone, and there have been no reports of damage.

North Korea has condemned an ongoing joint drill being staged by the US and South Korean militaries.
