Father and daughter arrested over headless body in Sapporo, Japan NHK

Japanese police say they have arrested a woman and her father in connection with a gruesome discovery.
A man's headless body was found earlier this month in the northern city of Sapporo.

The body was discovered in a hotel room on July 2. The victim was identified as a 62-year-old man who lived near the city.

Police arrested 29-year-old Tamura Runa and her 59-year-old father Tamura Osamu on Monday. Police believe the man was killed in the bathroom. The suspects allegedly removed his head and left the scene with it.

Police have not said whether or not they admit to the allegations.

Investigators say security camera footage shows the victim entering the hotel with another person. The camera later caught someone leaving the room alone with a large suitcase.
