Demonstrators in London have demanded that Iran uphold women's rights. This follows the awarding of the 2023 Nobel Peace Prize to jailed Iranian activist Narges Mohammadi.
About 20 people took part in the protest in front of the Parliament building on Saturday. They called on the Iranian government to stand with women.
They also exhibited about 40 panels showing photographs and names of those who are believed to have been killed by torture or during demonstrations in Iran.
An Iranian participant said Mohammadi's Nobel Peace Prize is hugely significant, calling her one of many brave women who have faced brutality and imprisonment.
She said that it is a win for every Iranian woman who continues to fight for women's rights as well as human rights.
Last year in Iran, a woman was arrested for allegedly wearing her hijab headscarf improperly and died in custody. This sparked protests, including some in the UK, which is home to one of the largest Iranian communities in Europe.
