A: Hey John, what's up?
   B: Hey, not much. What's new with you?

A: Have you heard about the cool event happening in Uonuma this year? It's their 20th birthday and they're throwing a big festival!
   B: No way, really? What kind of festival is it?

A: It's all about rice! They're famous for producing some of the best rice in Japan. There will be this special ceremony to cook the new harvest and even 300 free rice balls made with their freshest rice.
   B: Wow, that sounds tasty! And what else can we expect?

A: You can learn about pairing rice with different dishes from rice experts, try a fun challenge where you have to measure a serving of rice using your senses only, and there will be traditional festival games for kids too. Plus, they're having a farmer's market.
   B: That sounds like a lot of fun! Are there any other events going on around the same time?

A: Yeah, they're also bringing their best to Tokyo from October 23rd to 26th for the Eastern Japan Autumn Festival. You can try their delicious Miyuki Trout Sushi and Koji Mitsu there. And even if you can't go, Uonuma is a great place with skiing, golf, camping, sake breweries, and hot springs to check out!
