Biden to visit Poland ahead of 1st anniversary of Russian invasion of Ukraine NHK

US President Joe Biden will travel to Poland this month, ahead of the one-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said on Friday that Biden's visit will run from February 20 to 22.

She said he will meet with Polish President Andrzej Duda and the leaders of a group of Eastern European NATO states.

Jean-Pierre added that the president will reaffirm his country's commitment to standing with the people of Ukraine as they defend their freedom and democracy.
