A: Hey, did you hear about Prudential Life Insurance? It’s a big deal!

B: No, what’s going on? Tell me!

A: Apparently, a lot of their employees… some former ones too… did something really bad. They tricked customers!

B: Wow, seriously? How bad?

A: They sold products that weren't even from Prudential. They made about 20 million dollars doing it!

A: Prudential is really sorry, you know? The president, Mabara Kan, apologized.

B: That's good that they’re apologizing. What are they doing about it?

A: They set up a group of experts to look into everything and pay back the customers who were hurt.

B: Even people who used to work there?

A: Yeah, even them! If the experts think it’s necessary, Prudential will pay.

B: That's surprising! I wonder why they did it.

A: They think the way they paid employees – based on sales – was a big part of the problem.

B: So, they’re changing that?

A: Yes! They're fixing the system and trying to make sure it doesn’t happen again.  Apparently, some people spent the money on fancy cars and watches!

B: Ugh, that’s awful! Hopefully, things will get better.
