A: Hey there! What's up? B: Just chilling, what's new with you? A: You won't believe it, they had this amazing traditional parade in Tochigi, near Tokyo! B: No way! What was it about? A: It's called Hyakumonozoroi Sennin Musha Gyoretsu and it happens twice a year at Nikko Toshogu Shrine. They reenact moving the remains of Tokugawa Ieyasu, the guy who ruled Japan for a long time. B: That sounds cool! Did you go? A: Unfortunately, no. But they said around 800 people in traditional costumes walked about a kilometer! And can you imagine, a shrine weighing over 800 kg was carried by just 50 people! B: Wow, that's impressive! Did anyone from overseas go? A: Yep! There was this guy from France who said it was beautiful and the kids were adorable. B: Aww, that's sweet! What about the Japanese kids who took part in the parade? How did they feel? A: Well, one boy said he felt a bit embarrassed but another one, a high school student wearing armor, said it was heavy and his feet hurt. But he wants to keep the tradition alive for future generations. B: That's really awesome! Let's try to go next time if we can. It sounds like such an interesting experience!
