The ruling parties plan to raise the threshold from the current level of 1.03 million yen, or about 6,570 dollars, to 1.23 million yen, or about 7,840 dollars. But the DPFP is calling for a further increase.
The parties exchanged a fresh confirmation saying they will continue sincere discussions among the relevant parties to realize their aim of raising the minimum tax threshold to 1.78 million yen, or about 11,350 dollars.
