US President Joe Biden said in a statement that he will not hesitate &quot;to direct further measures&quot; against the Houthis if they continue to target shipping. He added that it is necessary to protect the free flow of international commerce.
                
Still, some US allies in the region are concerned. Officials in Oman warned that the attacks will only add &quot;fuel&quot; to an extremely dangerous situation and urged all parties to show restraint.
