A: Hey there! Guess what? I heard something exciting about that old temple in Nara!
   B: No way, really? What's up?

A: So it turns out they found a piece from the original pedestal of those Buddha statues at Horyuji Temple! Can you believe it?
   B: Whoa, seriously?! That temple is so old, right? I can't imagine what it looked like 1400 years ago!

A: Yeah, it's really something. They say this piece they found looks like a lotus petal and was made of copper with gold plating. Crazy, huh?
   B: That is cool! I wonder how they figured out it's part of the original pedestal...

A: Oh, they said it looked similar to the current pedestals and was labeled as metal fittings from Horyuji Temple. An expert survey confirmed it.
   B: Wow, that's really interesting! I can't wait to learn more about how it can help us understand the creation of those Buddha statues.

A: That's not all! They found this piece during preparations for an exhibition at the Odawara Art Foundation, where we used to visit when Hiroshi Sugimoto was still collecting pieces.
   B: Oh man, that's so cool! I can't wait to see more discoveries like this in the future! Let's go check it out once they put it on display!
