Meanwhile, Palestinian media reported that the Israeli military bombarded on Monday a school in Nuseirat, central Gaza, killing two women. They said the school sheltered many residents.
The Lebanon-based Shia Muslim group Hezbollah conducted a large-scale attack on northern Israel on Sunday.
The Israeli military said air-raid sirens sounded in the northern part of the country on Monday morning, and that it "successfully intercepted a suspicious aerial target".
Hezbollah says it has completed its retaliation following the killing of a senior commander in July, but adds that it will continue attacks against Israel as long as the Gaza conflict continues.
