A: Hey, John! What's up?
   B: Hey, Akira! Just chilling. What about you?

A: Did you catch the news from South Korea?
   B: Nah, what happened?

A: Lee Jae-myung, their new president, spoke at the UN and said he wants peace with North Korea!
   B: Really?! That's cool! He also seems to support talks between the U.S. and North Korea too.

A: Yeah, he said they want to reduce military tensions, build trust, and make the Korean Peninsula a place for shared growth.
   B: Wow, that sounds like a big step towards peace!

A: But he admitted it won't be easy to get North Korea to give up their nukes right away. Instead, he thinks they should first stop advancing their programs, then shrink them, and finally abandon them.
   B: Makes sense. It's not gonna happen overnight, but small steps can lead to big change!

A: And get this – North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un said if the U.S. stops obsessing over denuking North Korea and wants real peace, they'd totally talk with Washington!
   B: That's really hopeful news, Akira! Here's to hoping for a peaceful Korean Peninsula soon!
