Prime Minister Ishiba Shigeru expressed his intention to establish an all-Japan approach across ministries and agencies for negotiations with the US, and to take necessary measures for domestic industries.
        
                    
                  
In the first round of negotiations, Akazawa plans to explain how Japan contributes to the US economy and employment through a large sum of investments, hoping to set the stage for constructive talks.
        
                    
                  
He is expected to carefully determine negotiable fields, while calling for a review of the tariff measures.
