Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has condemned Russia for continuing to attack his country despite unilaterally claiming to implement a ceasefire later this week. Ukrainian media report that Russia launched drone attacks on Saturday and Sunday, sparking fires at a shopping mall and a high-rise building in the capital, Kyiv. They say 11 people, including two children, were wounded. The media also say Russian strikes on the eastern regions of Kharkiv and Donetsk resulted in four civilian deaths. Zelenskyy took to social media on Sunday, saying Russia had used over 1,180 attack drones and 1,360 guided aerial bombs to strike Ukraine in the past week. Zelenskyy also referred to Russian President Vladimir Putin's unilateral declaration of a three-day ceasefire starting on Thursday. The Kremlin says the truce will mark 80 years since the Soviet Union's victory over Nazi Germany in World War Two. Zelenskyy said Russians are calling for the ceasefire while striking Ukraine every single day. He highlighted the need for what he calls a "real ceasefire." He said, "If there's a ceasefire -- then not for their holidays, but for every day." Zelenskyy wrote on social media last week that a ceasefire "must be immediate, full, and unconditional" and continue "for at least 30 days." Russia has so far not agreed to the 30-day ceasefire, which was proposed by the administration of US President Donald Trump.
