N.Korean media: Kim, Putin reach 'satisfactory' agreement NHK

North Korea's state-run media says leader Kim Jong Un reached a "satisfactory" agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin. This comes after a recent summit at a major Russian space center.

Korean Central Television said the two leaders discussed politics, economic issues and military affairs when they met Wednesday.

Agreements were reached on national sovereignty, regional and global peace and security, and international justice. But it was not clear whether they agreed on expanding military cooperation.

Pyongyang says Putin accepted an invitation from Kim to visit North Korea. They met at a space port in Russia's Far East. It was their first meeting in four years.

Kim is now expected to visit the city of Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia's far eastern region of Khabarovsk. He is expected to tour factories that manufacture aircraft, including fighter jets, for Russia's air force.
