Japan has notched its second win in the first round of the World Baseball Classic by beating South Korea 13-4. Friday's game at Tokyo Dome was scoreless until the third inning, when Japan starter Darvish Yu gave up three runs, including a two-run homer. But at the bottom of the inning, with runners on first and second, Japan's Lars Nootbaar and Kondo Kensuke narrowed the score to one. And later in the same inning, Japan took the lead when Yoshida Masataka drove in two runs with the bases loaded. From there, Japan's batters maintained their momentum to score a total of 13 runs. Japan will face the Czech Republic on Saturday.
