1. Kinoko no Yama, a popular chocolate-cookie snack in Japan, celebrated its 50th anniversary with a fashion show titled Kinokore, held by Meiji and designer Junko Koshino on October 14th.

2. The event featured models wearing mushroom-themed garments made from cocoa husk, a material byproduct of chocolate production that can be upcycled to create more environmentally friendly synthetic leathers.

3. As part of the celebration, a new mascot character, Junko Kinoko, was created and T-shirts bearing her likeness are being offered as prizes through Meiji's Line account for those who submit receipts showing over 500 yen in purchases of either Kinoko no Yama or Takenoko no Sato products.
