Leaders in Europe have agreed to send a multinational force to Ukraine in the event of a ceasefire with Russia. However, officials in Moscow have criticized the decision, calling it a &quot;direct threat.&quot;
The Russian Foreign Ministry released a statement on Thursday warning against the plan. It said Russian forces would consider Western military units to be &quot;legitimate combat targets.&quot;
Leaders from the so-called Coalition of the Willing held a summit on Tuesday to discuss ways of helping Kyiv. They were joined by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US special envoy Steve Witkoff.
