Bullet train service between Akita and Iwate to remain suspended up to Monday NHK

The operator of the Akita Shinkansen bullet train says service between Akita and Iwate prefectures in northeastern Japan will likely remain suspended on Monday, following heavy rains.

East Japan Railway has already announced the suspension of service between Akita station and Morioka station for the entire day on Sunday.
