Advocacy group: At least 77 media workers killed in Israel-Hamas conflict NHK

A media advocacy group says at least 77 journalists and media workers have been killed since the Israel-Hamas conflict started three months ago.

The Committee to Protect Journalists announced the death toll as of Friday. Of them, 70 are Palestinians, four are Israelis and three are Lebanese.

The CPJ also says it received reports that 16 journalists were injured, three missing and 21 arrested.

The group accused the Israeli military of targeting journalists and their families.

It added that "with every journalist killed, the war becomes harder to document and to understand."
