South Korean prosecutors say they have indicted former President Yoon Suk-yeol for abuse of power. The prosecutors announced Yoon's indictment without physical detention on Thursday. Yoon briefly declared martial law last year. In January, he was indicted on charges of leading an insurrection and a trial is underway. Incumbent presidents in South Korea are granted constitutional immunity from indictment for abuse of power.
