The Yamanote line that circles central Tokyo is shut down in a counterclockwise direction between Ikebukuro and Osaki stations throughout Sunday. The operator, East Japan Railway is also reducing services on the rest of the loop. The stoppage is being caused by construction work at JR Shibuya Station as part of a redevelopment project in the area.
