US President Joe Biden has said that a &quot;pause&quot; is needed in the Israel-Hamas conflict. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Thursday his troops are making progress and that &quot;nothing will stop&quot; them.

Halevi says his troops maintain &quot;high readiness in all arenas,&quot; including the northern border with Lebanon. Those units have been exchanging fire since last month with fighters from Hezbollah.
                
Israeli authorities had ordered residents to leave towns in the area. Still, two people were wounded in a rocket attack in Kiryat Shmona on Thursday.
