At least three people are dead and four others wounded in a shooting near Beverly Hills, California.

Police say that the incident took place at around 2:30 a.m. Saturday at a short-term rental house. They are investigating if there was a gathering there.

Local media reported that the suspect or suspects remain at large.

In the state of California, 11 people were killed in a shooting a week ago in Monterey Park near Los Angeles and seven people were shot dead two days later in Half Moon Bay, near San Francisco.
