US President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff met Russian President Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg as Trump urged Russia to "get moving." Trump has expressed his frustration over stalled ceasefire talks between Russia and Ukraine. Russian media say the meeting on Friday lasted 4 hours, but the details have not been disclosed. So far, Washington has failed to get Moscow to agree to a full ceasefire with Ukraine. The Kremlin's investment envoy Kirill Dmitriev also met with Witkoff, and he described the discussions as "productive" in a social media post.
