He wants them lifted right away. A: Exactly! The UN has provided food, water, shelters, and medicine for about 60,000 people so far but they need more help. With winter coming, he's asking for more international support. B: That earthquake was terrible. It happened on the 31st of August, right? A: Yes, it did. More than 2,200 people died and over 3,600 were injured, mostly in Kunar Province. Many areas are still isolated because of damaged roads.
