A: Hey, Yuta! Did you catch any news today?
   B: Not much, what's up?

A: Well, check this out! Small drones had a race in Yamagobe Town yesterday.
   B: Really? That sounds cool! Where was it held?

A: It was in the Owarabi district, one of Japan's top 100 terraced rice paddies. They created a course just for this event.
   B: Wow, those drones must have had quite a view! How long was the course?

A: About 500 meters! The drones were really fast – up to 50 kilometers per hour! They flew between flags and gates, making sharp turns.
   B: That sounds exciting! Who participated in this race?

A: Around 30 people took part with their unmanned aerial vehicles that weighed less than 100 grams.
   B: Spectators must have enjoyed watching those drones! Was there any special prize for the winner?

A: I don't think so, but spectators could see images captured by cameras mounted on the drones on a screen.
   B: I bet they loved that! What about the town officials? Why did they hold this event?

A: They want to protect these terraced rice fields since many farmers are getting older. They hope the race will attract more people to appreciate the beautiful scenery.
   B: That's great! I hope it works and more people visit this amazing place. Let's go check it out ourselves sometime, what do you say?
