Daily round-trip flights resume between Tokyo and quake-hit Noto NHK

All Nippon Airways resumed daily flights on Monday between Tokyo's Haneda Airport and Noto Airport, located in the area of central Japan that was devastated by the New Year's Day earthquake.

The airline is now operating one round-trip flight every day as access to Noto Airport has been improved after damaged roads were repaired.

Flights between the Tokyo and Noto airports resumed in late January, but were limited to one round-trip a day for three days a week.

There had been two round-trip flights every day before the quake. ANA says it will consider whether to return the number of flights to the pre-quake level depending on the progress of reconstruction.
