Toyota Motor announced on Monday that it plans to fully resume operations on Thursday after an accident at its parts supplier last week. Toyota had to suspend operations of 13 production lines at eight assembly plants, mostly in central Japan, following an explosion that occurred at its partner Chuo Spring on October 16. As the parts firm has restored shipments, the automaker plans to restart operations on Tuesday of seven lines at five plants that are still not running. Toyota says it is securing parts to resume production at the remaining plant in the central prefecture of Gifu on Thursday.
