A: Hey there, how's it going?
B: Oh, hi! Not much, just working on some stuff. What's up with you?

A: You haven't heard the news? There was a sad incident in Karumai, Iwate prefecture.
B: No, I didn't. Tell me about it.

A: Somebody's pet dog went missing from its yard and they think it was attacked by a bear!
B: Wow, that's terrible! What happened next?

A: Well, the owner found the dead body of his medium-sized dog in a nearby thicket. But when police arrived, the body was gone!
B: That's strange... It sounds like a bear attack though, right?

A: Exactly! The police think so too and are warning residents to be careful. The site is about 5 km south of town center in a mountainous area.
B: I wonder if they can find any more evidence to prove it was a bear. That poor dog's owner must be feeling sad.

A: Yeah, he said the dog was a good watchdog and that its body was in a terrible state. He feels really bad. Let's hope there won't be more incidents like this.
