A: Hey! Did you hear anything about Thailand and Cambodia?
B: No! What’s going on? It sounds serious.
A: Yeah, it is. They're fighting again near their border. 
B: Really? That's terrible! Anyone hurt?
A: Sadly, a lot. Over 40 people have died. And hundreds of thousands had to leave their homes!
B: Wow, that's awful. Are they trying to stop it?
A: They started ceasefire talks, like meetings to try and make peace. It began yesterday.
B: That’s good news! Will the defense ministers be there?
A: Yes! They're supposed to join the talks this Saturday.
B: So, what's the situation now? Are the fights stopping?
A: Not yet. Cambodia says Thailand attacked them from the air. And Thailand says Cambodia used rockets.
B: Oh no. It sounds complicated.
A: Exactly. It’s not clear if the talks will even work.
