A small aircraft has crashed on a busy road in Brazil's largest city Sao Paulo, killing two people and injuring six others. The incident occurred during morning commuting hours on Friday about four kilometers north of the city center. The fire department says the two victims were on the plane. It says the injured include passengers on a bus that caught fire. The aircraft reportedly went down shortly after taking off from a nearby airport. A local TV station has quoted an eye-witness as saying the plane appeared to be trying to land on the road. Light aircraft are a popular means of travel among wealthy people in Brazil. More than 10 aircraft accidents have already occurred in the country this year.
