The Israeli government has not made an official response to the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. But Reuters news agency reported on Monday that an Israeli official denied the government&#039;s involvement in the helicopter crash that killed him.
                
Iran has been in confrontation with Israel and leads the so-called &quot;axis of resistance&quot; network of armed organizations in the Middle East, including the Palestinian group Hamas.
                
Israeli media are intensively covering Sunday&#039;s crash that also killed Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian and others.
                
The Times of Israel said in an analysis, &quot;Though the deaths of two senior Iranian officials are a dramatic development at a time when multiple conflicts are raging in the region, it likely will not affect the course of those fights significantly, with decisions over foreign policy and war under the purview of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.&quot;
                
The media also argued, &quot;Though Iran&#039;s broad foreign policy won&#039;t change, having to deal with unexpected upheaval is expected to take attention away from the multi-front fight against Israel.&quot;
                
It quoted an expert as saying Iran can put more focus on internal affairs as it is set to choose the next president.
