B: Seriously? That’s not good.

A: No, it’s really bad. They’ve had to close offices and lay off workers.

B: Wow, that’s a lot of people!

B: That’s heartbreaking. What about Ukraine? I keep seeing things about that.

A: It’s even worse there. Over 3,800 schools are gone! Destroyed or closed.

B: Incredible! That’s devastating for those kids.

A: They’ve been trying to learn online, but Russia keeps attacking power stations. So, even that isn't working.

B: Oh man, it’s a terrible situation.

A: The boss lady said everyone needs to keep helping. It’s really important for those kids’ mental health too.

B: Absolutely. Hopefully, things will get better soon.
