US entrepreneur Elon Musk has again appealed for support for an anti-immigrant party in Germany in a virtual appearance at an election rally.
Alternative for Germany, or AfD, held the event on Saturday, ahead of the congressional election scheduled for late February.
Appearing on a large screen, Musk said AfD is "the best hope" for Germany. He also said it is good to be proud of German culture and German values.
Earlier this month, Musk hosted AfD head Alice Weidel in an interview on his social media platform X. He praised the AfD's economic and energy policies and urged Germans to vote for the party.
Musk, who has a key role in the administration of US President Donald Trump, has been accused of meddling in elections and domestic affairs in Europe. Musk has repeatedly criticized the British government and other European administrations.
The AfD is currently ranking second in German opinion polls on the back of public dissatisfaction over an increase in migration. The party apparently hopes to get a boost from the high-profile billionaire's support.
