A: Hey there! Guess what? We got some wild news happening in Akita, huh?

B: What's up, man? Tell me!

A: There were two bear attacks on Monday in Akita Prefecture, can you believe it? An old guy even got hurt at his home early in the morning. Crazy!

B: No way! Was there only one bear involved or more than one?

A: It seems like the first bear was about a meter long and left with a smaller bear after the attack, so maybe more than one. Then, another elderly guy got attacked later in the day while walking in a forest near Daisen City.

B: Wow, this is getting serious! How many attacks have there been this year in Akita alone?

A: So far this year, bear attacks in Akita Prefecture have killed three people and injured over 50 others. The authorities have issued a warning for everyone in the prefecture now.

B: That's scary! I heard something similar is happening in Miyagi Prefecture too, right?

A: Yeah, it looks like people are avoiding a leisure facility there because of bear damage and increased sightings. The campers usually flock to the place this time of year, but they're down about 30% compared to last year!

B: What a shame! I wonder if they have any measures in place to keep the bears away?

A: They've closed part of the facility near the mountain and set up electric fences around a trout pool. Still, it doesn't seem like that's doing much to stop them.
