An Israeli military spokesperson said on Saturday that a rocket attack by the Lebanon-based Shia Muslim group Hezbollah against the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights has killed 10 children outside playing soccer.

More than 20 others were said to have been injured.

Israel has vowed to respond to the attack.

Hezbollah said in a statement that it "categorically denies the allegations."

Tensions between Israel and Hezbollah are rising as they have recently been trading fire.
