US President Donald Trump says he will speak to Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday, apparently about the US&#039;s proposal for a ceasefire with Ukraine.
        
                    
                  
Trump spoke to reporters about talks with Russia while flying to Washington on Air Force One on Sunday.
        
                    
                  
He said: &quot;We will see if we have something to announce, maybe on Tuesday. I&#039;ll be speaking to President Putin on Tuesday.&quot;
        
                    
                  
He went on to say: &quot;A lot of work&#039;s been done over the weekend. We want to see if we can bring that war to an end. Maybe we can, maybe we can&#039;t, but I think we have a very good chance.&quot;
        
                    
                  
Trump is expected to ask Putin to accept a US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire with Ukraine.
        
                    
                  
When asked about what concessions are being considered from Putin, Trump said: &quot;We&#039;ll be talking about land. We&#039;ll be talking about power plants.&quot;
        
                    
                  
He added that &quot;a lot of land is a lot different than it was before the war.&quot;
        
                    
                  
Trump went on to say: &quot;We have a lot of it already discussed very much by both sides, Ukraine and Russia. We are already talking about that, dividing up certain assets.&quot;
