Japanese soccer player Endo Wataru of Stuttgart in Germany's top soccer division, the Bundesliga, suffered an injury to his head in a match on Tuesday. The 29-year-old midfielder was knocked in a clash with an opponent in a penalty area and taken off on a stretcher. Stuttgart said in its Twitter account that Endo had been unconscious on the pitch, but regained his responsiveness in the ambulance. The team wished him a quick recovery.
