1. Aurora has announced a new 600-mile driverless route between Fort Worth and El Paso, expanding its self-driving truck service.
2. The company has completed over 100,000 driverless miles on public roads and plans to expand to Phoenix by the end of the year.
3. Aurora also unveiled next-generation hardware for its autonomous trucks, which is more durable, cost-effective, and can detect objects 1,000 meters away. This new hardware will be integrated with Volvo VNL Autonomous trucks and a larger volume version is expected in 2027.
