Brazilian media outlets say security authorities have removed supporters of the country's former President Jair Bolsonaro from the Congress and other buildings in the capital, Brasilia. But they say clashes between Bolsonaro loyalists and police are continuing in some parts of the city. The mob breached security barricades and entered the Congress building on Sunday. They also stormed into the nearby presidential palace and the Supreme Court. Some broke windows to get into the Congress building. At the presidential palace, desks and printers were turned upside down, documents were scattered around and some paintings were damaged. Brazilian media say 300 arrests have been made. Last week, leftist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva was sworn in as president. He defeated Bolsonaro by a slim margin in last year's presidential runoff. But some Bolsonaro supporters have been refusing to accept the election results. Lula told reporters in Sao Paulo that anyone who was involved in the rioting in Brasilia will be found and punished.
