Japan&#039;s Foreign Minister Kamikawa Yoko is visiting Ukraine.
                
She is scheduled to meet with her Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba in the capital Kyiv to convey that Japan&#039;s policy of supporting Ukraine remains unchanged.
                
Some observers point out &quot;fatigue&quot; among western countries in supporting Ukraine.
                
Kamikawa arrived in Ukraine by train from Poland on Sunday.  She is scheduled to visit Bucha near the capital, where many civilians were killed by Russian forces.
                
She will then go to Kyiv to meet senior government officials.
                
Kamikawa plans to confirm preparations for the Japan-Ukraine Conference for Promotion of Economic Reconstruction to be held in Japan in February.
                
She is also scheduled to participate in the handover ceremony of large-scale power related equipment to help the country during the winter, and will also visit a site established by an international organization to provide assistance to women and children.
                
Japan&#039;s Prime Minister Kishida Fumio visited Ukraine in March 2023, followed by then Foreign Minister Hayashi Yoshimasa in September.
